Compression Sock

Compression on the arch

The ankle sock provides a firm compression on the arch and the heel-instep line. Under the foot fascia runs connecting the heel bone to the ball of the foot. That extra compression is important in order to maintain the natural curve of the foot sole and the plantar fascia slightly to relieve allowing the foot arch will be less sagging. Stretched belts and weaker muscles are now correcting supported. This makes a major contribution to the prevention of irritation of the tendon and keeps the foot plate in arch tension.

Swollen feet

Many hikers and to a lesser extent, sometimes runners know the 'swollen' feet phenomenon during and after a brisk walk or run. The feet feel eventually painful and continuing sometimes seriously hampered.

Until now no good remedy against that, unlike the legs lay high in breaks and after exercise.

Causes and how to prevent

The cause of this inconvenience lies mainly in the binding of protein-rich fluid with the degradation products that are released during exertion. This fluid (edema) during the effort can not be removed quickly enough from the venous system of feet and ankles.

A contribution to a more rapid discharge may be provided by administering dosed from the outside of compression. A technique by Herzog already in the 90s of the 20th century was developed and became more perfected.
